Springfield College is a private college in Springfield, also known as The City of Homes and The City of Firsts, the largest city on the Connecticut River and the county seat of Hampden County, located in the US state of Massachusetts, with more than 155 000 people, living within its limits, according to the 2009 census estimate, which makes it the 3rd largest city in the state and the 4th largest in New England.
